I built this Pouchaud box out of walnut. I can travel with this and carry up to 4 wet oil paintings. I can even leave paint on the pallette. The size of the painting is limited to 6 inches by 8 inches, but that is the perfect size for completing a piece in about and hour and a half. By that time the light has changed and I'm ready to move on. All of my landscapes measure 6 X 8 inches.
